Event Staff
Location: Various Events around the Austin area
Hours: Generally Saturdays, 5-8 hours per event, as needed
Compensation: $12/hr + a cannoli!
About Monster Cannoli
Monster Cannoli is bringing bold, decadent cannoli to Austin. We're talking twice the size, five times the flavor. We specialize in both classic Italian flavors and unique seasonal creations that keep our customers (and our bakers) excited. We're looking for several friendly, reliable, and energetic individuals to join our event staff and represent our brand at local markets and events. This role is perfect for those who enjoys interacting with customers, working outdoors in a fast-paced, but fun environment, and takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly.
What you'll do
- Set up and tear down our booth at events
- Greet customers, answer questions, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take customer orders accurately and handle transactions.
- Prepare and serve cannoli to order with care and attention to presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized booth area, following food safety standards.
- Support the team with other tasks as needed to keep the booth running smoothly.
What we're looking for
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, engaging personality.
- Valid Texas Food Handler's Certification (if not already certified, we can help you get certified)
- Ability to work on your feet for long periods and lift up to 30lbs
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and flexibility in a busy environment.
